Aaron Fischer, who self-identifies as LGBTQ, is described by Marvel as “the Captain America of the Railways — a fearless teen who stepped up to protect fellow runaways and the unhoused.”

The BBC has announced its 2021-2023 diversity and inclusion plan that is internally – at the BBC – being peddled as the “gold standard” of workplace diversity and inclusion. Measures in the plan include: The biggest ever growth in entry-level opportunities, recruitment & outreach programme, diverse senior leadership, and inclusive behaviour training and toolkit.
ASX-200 firm calls on other employers to shift the dial on gender equality in Australia
According to Human Resources Director, Last year, the number of female CEOs in the ASX200 decreased for the first time since the census began to just 10. At a board level however, progress is being made. The number of women on the boards of ASX200 has reached a record high of 31%.

New ‘diversity’ cruiser for Waterloo regional police gets mixed reviews
The Waterloo Regional Police Service has launched a new program where artwork will be added to cruisers to reflect people who live in the community. The first cruiser in a series of four was launched this week and received mixed reviews from some in the community. The artwork “aims to capture the spirit of Canadian newcomers, as well as African, Caribbean, South Asian, and Arabic cultures,” police said in a release. Along with the artwork, there is a QR code people can scan to learn more about the project.
