Bristol academy adopts diversity curriculum

DEI has caught a lot of media attention over the last few years. One can slowly see how different sectors are taking action to bring DEI to a conscious level. In education, a Bristol academy has adopted a curriculum that promotes diversity, and over 20 schools have trialled this curriculum which incorporates black and minority ethnic (BME) teachings into all of its subjects. Minister Ng reaffirms Canada’s commitment to inclusion at opening of Chinatown Storytelling Centre

Anti-Asian racism has risen dramatically during the pandemic. The Chinatown Storytelling Centre in Vancouver has opened and serves as a hub to celebrate Chinese Canadians’ experiences and contributions to Canada. Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, attended the opening and reaffirms the Government of Canada’s commitment to fight anti-Asian racism and to ensure inclusion and representation through policies and actions.
